Our aim is to make your child's stay at Going Places both happy and productive.

Going Places Nursery Ltd. is owned by Luke McNulty and has been operating since 1997. Luke with the help of Jo in the office is responsible for Health and Safety, Admin and Security. A team of highly experienced and highly qualified staff look after all Childcare issues ensuring the highest standards are maintained at all times.

The building was originally a purpose built Barnardo's Home close to the junction of the A38 and A361 Tavistock Road in Plymouth. With easy access / parking in the green, a large outside all weather play area, purpose built laundry and kitchen only minor modifications were needed to open as a day nursery. With additional improvements each year we now boast superb facilities.

Each age group is run by a fully qualified and experienced deputy who is the main daily contact for parents / guardians. Additional qualified staff and students further support the rooms. It is important in all age groups for our staff to work with parents in an atmosphere of mutual respect within which children can gain security and confidence. The team of motivated and committed staff are key to the Childcare provided and are credited with the result of our recent OFSTED inspection.
