Children not collected at the end of their session

We will try all contact numbers provided to locate a person authorised to collect the child. If we fail to contact anyone who can collect we will contact the police and hospital to see if any authorised persons have been involved in an accident or been detained by police.

If there is no authorised person available to collect the child, Social Services will be contacted to make arrangements for the care of the child.

Needless to say, putting a child into care is a serious step and one that could have repercussions. Parents must ensure that we never have to use this action.

Please collect your child allowing plenty of time.
Ensure that there are always several authorised people available to collect.
Make sure ALL telephone numbers we hold are current.
